PRIVACY POLICY — PROFITDEKHO LENS

This Privacy Policy explains what information the ProfitDekho Lens browser extension (the "Extension") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

The Extension is operated by Adriel Fashion, Chandpara, Near BDO Office, Gaighata, West Bengal – 743245, India ("ProfitDekho", "we", "us", "our"). ProfitDekho is a trademark of Adriel Fashion.

1. SCOPE
This policy covers the ProfitDekho Lens browser extension and the ProfitDekho account and server features used by it. It does not cover any third-party website you visit, including Meesho and Flipkart, which have their own privacy policies.


2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Account information
When you sign in — using Google Sign-In or an email and password — we receive and store your name and email address, and we create an account identifier and an authentication token for your device. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive only your basic profile information (name, email address and profile picture). We never receive or store your Google password.

b) Reports you choose to upload
The Extension lets you upload your own marketplace reports:
 - Meesho payment and settlement files, used by the Profit & Loss feature
 - Meesho order reports, used by the Analytics feature
 - Shipping label PDF files, used by the Smart Label Manager
Payment and order report data is transmitted to our servers only to perform the requested calculation, and the calculated result is returned to you. We do not retain these files or their contents on our servers after the calculation is complete, and we do not use them to build any profile of you or your business.
Shipping label PDF files are processed entirely inside your own browser and are never transmitted to our servers.

c) Marketplace page content
When you use the Extension on a Meesho or Flipkart page, it reads information that is visible on that page — such as product title, price, rating, category and product images — in order to provide listing assistance, product insight and analytics. This is read only from the page you are actively viewing, and only on the marketplace pages listed in the Extension's permissions.

d) Messages sent to Manojit AI
Questions you send to the Manojit AI assistant, together with the relevant page context, are transmitted to our servers and to our AI processing provider so that a reply can be generated. Please do not include passwords, customer personal data, or other sensitive personal information in these messages.

e) Technical and usage information
We may collect limited technical information such as the Extension version, error events and feature usage counts, in order to keep the Extension working correctly and to improve it.


3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not collect your health information, your location or GPS data, your browsing history outside the supported marketplace pages, your keystrokes, your personal communications such as emails or chats, your marketplace account password, or your bank account, debit card or credit card numbers.


4. INFORMATION STORED ONLY ON YOUR DEVICE
The following data is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to us:
 - Your label history, including recent label files, kept for up to 30 days
 - Your Profit & Loss inputs, such as packing cost and return loss values
 - Your list of recently processed report entries
 - Your Extension Lock PIN, if you set one
 - Your preferences and interface settings
You can remove all of this at any time by uninstalling the Extension or by clearing extension data from your browser settings.


5. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information described above only in order to:
 - Provide the features you request, including profit calculation, order analytics, label processing, listing assistance and AI answers
 - Create and secure your account and manage your subscription
 - Provide customer support when you contact us
 - Detect and prevent misuse, fraud and security incidents
 - Diagnose errors and improve the Extension
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use or transfer your information to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.


6. SERVICE PROVIDERS
We rely on a small number of service providers, who may process data only on our instructions and only for the purposes described in this policy:
 - Google, for Google Sign-In authentication
 - Our cloud hosting provider, for operating our servers
 - Our AI processing provider, for generating Manojit AI responses
 - Our payment processor, for subscription payments. We do not receive or store your card details.


7. DATA RETENTION
Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active. The contents of uploaded payment and order reports are not retained on our servers once the calculation is complete. Support correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to resolve your query. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your account information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain records to meet a legal or regulatory obligation.


8. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You may:
 - Request access to, or correction of, the account information we hold
 - Request deletion of your account and the associated personal information
 - Clear all locally stored data by uninstalling the Extension
 - Stop all processing at any time by uninstalling the Extension

9. SECURITY
All communication between the Extension and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and internal access to personal information is restricted. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.


10. CHILDREN
The Extension is intended for business use by persons aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children.


11. INDEPENDENCE FROM MARKETPLACES
ProfitDekho Lens is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meesho, Flipkart, Amazon, or any other marketplace. All trademarks referred to belong to their respective owners.


12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are significant, we will notify you through the Extension or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy always reflects the current version.
